About Kathe Wilcoxon

Kathe Wilcoxon is a Minneapolis-based artist and designer. She paints from life and on location.

Kathe was educated at Macalester College and the University of Minnesota and holds a BA in Studio Art. She also studied painting at Split Rock Arts, Lunenburg Seaside Craft School in Nova Scotia, and the Minnesota School of Botanical Art. She has worked as a designer and art director in Minneapolis, Chicago, and Toronto.

Her paintings have been exhibited at Filoli, Woodside CA; Rochester Contemporary Art Center, Rochester NY; Longfellow House, Minneapolis MN; The Bakken Museum, Minneapolis MN; The American Swedish Institute, Minneapolis MN; Hopkins Center for the Arts, Hopkins MN; Ames Center for the Arts, Burnsville MN; Bloomington Center for Arts, Bloomington MN, Lakeville Area Arts Center, Lakeville MN, the Reedy Gallery, MN Landscape Arboretum, Chaska, MN, and at the Phipps Center for Arts, Hudson WI.
